Dr. Sophia Rauscher

Congrats to Sophia Rauscher on successfully defending her thesis! She is the twelfth PhD student to graduate from the group. Dr. Harpreet Kaur

Congrats to Harpreet Kaur on successfully defending her thesis! She is the eleventh PhD student to graduate from the group. Robert’s study on quantitatively comparing the hydride donor ability of the biological cofactors NADH and NADPH with standard reducing agents from organic synthesis was published in Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry. Congrats!

New publication

Sophia’s study on how metal catalysts can allow hydrogen gas to drive part of the reverse Krebs cycle under mild nonenzymatic conditions has been accepted for publication in Angewandte Chemie International Edition. She even found that iron-based meteorites can promote these reactions! Congrats!

Dr. Jing Yi

Congrats to Jing Yi on successfully defending her thesis! She is the tenth PhD student to graduate from the group.
