Congrats to Marian Dryzhakov on successfully defending his thesis! He is the second PhD student to graduate from the group. After a few weeks more in the lab to submit papers, Marian will join Prof. Makoto Fujita’s lab at the University of Tokyo as a JSPS postdoctoral fellow.

Kamila joins us from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, where she recently defended her PhD under Prof. Scott Cockroft. Welcome Kamila!
Congrats to Eléna Wolf on successfully defending her thesis! She is the first PhD student to graduate from the group. Eléna will join BASF’s JONAS research network.

Joseph has been awarded an ERC Starting Grant (1.5 million €)! The award will allow us to pursue our dream to create reaction networks that resemble biological metabolism. Informal inquiries regarding doctoral and postdoctoral positions related to this project are encouraged at any time. Leandro joins us from the IPNA in La Laguna, Spain, where he recently defended his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Fernando Garcia-Tellado and David Tejedor Aragón. Welcome Leandro!
Joseph has passed the “Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches” (HDR). The HDR is a degree in France that is required before formally supervising PhD students.
